Internationally Recognised Artist

Joy paints with abstract techniques that find further resolution in the additional layers as the work evolves. The works are complex and often intricate with a lot of detail and always exciting for the viewer. The works get more intriguing as one gets in close and looks at how the artwork has been created.

Engelman's works have been nationally & internationally awarded and recognised for their bold statement's on the environment. She was awarded the Lorenzo il Magnifico Award (5th premio pittura) at the Florence Biennale in 2007.

Her love for the Great Australian Outback shines through in bold colour washes and modern abstract techniques. Her works are available from Peisley Street Gallery in Orange NSW and Mungo Lodge Gallery at Arumpo NSW. Appointment to visit the artist at her studio can be arranged by phoning 0427 618 953.
